Sedici Marco 2
I went with a mesh jacket with water/windproof zip-out liner. Works a charm for maximum airflow and, with with the liner, it blocks the wind well. It's good for a light rain but, as the fabric is outside of the liner, it doesn't replace real rain gear. I got the optional back armor.
Eastern USA, 75-100°F and 70-99% humidity in the summer.

Great review...Thanks!

Ride out this afternoon in +89 degf and 67% humidity. Jacket air flows well and temperature was tolerable but still sweating my nuts off.
Jacket fit is slightly big, but I don't think downsizing would have worked well.
I think it was a good buy and would only be better if it came with a/c built in.

I own a Merlin heritage collection mesh jacket that looks the part and is good for heat. Wind blows straight through it. It comes with a removable inner zip waterproof liner in case it’s raining. For winter (now in Australia) I wear the Goldtop bobber in black. Nice quilted jacket with thick leather.

So you like your English brands. There is a maker in the borders whose name escapes me. When funds allow, I fancy one from there.
Edit: Aero Leathers

I have narrowed it down to either the Klim Induction Pro or the Marrakesh for summer riding. Online comments say the Marrakesh is more comfortable but doesn't have the airflow of the Induction Pro. The induction Pro looks like it has better protection. Does anyone own one of these? Can you give some feedback as to airflow and comfort?

The jacket pic I posted on July 8 is excellent for riding in cool weather. Light weight but doesn’t let wind penetrate.

The Revit Trench (linked HERE). Just picked one up on this close out sale. Eager to actually wear it! I got it to layer up more comfortably in cold weather than with my leathers. Bonus that this thing is gore-Tex and fully waterproof, and includes a removable thermal liner. Has some venting for more year-round use, though most reviewers say it’s probably not gonna be great in sweltering heat. Couldn’t find anyone who owned it who didn’t love it, so with $200 off, it had to be done.

A few months ago I stumbled onto an amazing jacket from Japan made by an outfit called The Flat Head. Beautiful, beautiful hand-made horsehide black leather jacket. I paid about 15% of retail and have been smiling ever since. It's literally the nicest jacket I can conjure up in my minds-eye and then there it is! I'm gonna put that on, ahhhhhh. The point of this thread isn't to brag about my find, no, it's to stress that I hadn't even KNOWN about it prior to finding it online and then doing some research. There's others out there I'm sure.

So, R18 owners...we have folks here from around the globe: France, Thailand, California, South Africa, Poland, Pennsylvania, etc. What are you wearing? What niché leather boutique can you shine a light on and maybe inspire someone else to make an investment? Or if jackets is too narrow a topic, what gloves or pants or boots are you wearing? Any specific do's or don'ts?

Here's the jacket

it smells so good. holy freakin' shit.
Am a big fan of Vansons out of Fall River. 2mm heavy leathers, still appear to be hand made locally
