I had an old cheap brand leather jacket but it is a little big on me now. When I got my R18TC, I purchased RST Moto Ventilator CE Jacket. 
Fits well and with the liner it stays dry and warm. It has C2 armor in shoulders and elbows and C1 in back. It was on clearance in this color and my size on cycle gear at the time.
