My bike dropped off at my home yesterday. Reverse gear back in operation and BMW micro indicators fitted as part of my compensation package. The bike looks great and I am itching to get out.

My reverse repair is now complete, and the bike is ready for collection.

Had notice here in UK. Reverse parts have been ordered and hopefully fitted next week

I love that part of the world. I came across Temecula when on a 3000 mile Harley tour with three other veterans from the UK / Falklands. The second time I visited, was with my wife. There happened to be a large classic car show which took over the whole town.

I never received a letter. Was informed by Halliwell Jones when I took the bike in with regards to other warranty work.

Completely agree with pbosik. At the price I paid, during the last group buy I am very happy. That said, the improvements are very subtle.

My dealership were a bit muddled as to what the issue was, and how long it might take to fix. For me, I use the reverse a reasonable amount of time and it will prove very inconvenient without. I wish I had faith in the fact BMW would see me right on this issue.

I use reverse a reasonable amount but never felt I would benefit from this mod’. I find the lever easy to locate and to operate.

Similar to me. Just coming up to end of warranty and have reported these issues. Flaking and blistering of chrome on one footrest and gear change, bubbling of paint on steering yoke. BMW have agreed to change out both wheels due to blistering where spokes insert into hubs. Hopefully, they will...

Hi W4H BMW have just agreed to replace my rims, due to corrosion. I expected a bit of a tussle however, all was quick and easy. Wishing you some success one way or another.

Corrosion on hubs where spokes interlock with hub. BMW have agreed to replace under warranty.

Maybe not worth ‘your’ money, but definitely was worth mine. The tune is very subtle but makes big improvements all round in my opinion.
