Here’s my 3 Amigos in small (750cc), medium (1200cc) & large (1800cc) boxer engine capacity. Additionally I have a S1000R, but that’s an inline 4.

It’s a R1200CLC or a modified R1200CL based on the chrome on the bags et al. They came with a fairing from the factory. It only came out in 2002 and the entire R1200C line was cancelled in 2004, so they aren’t common.

Love'd the LT and always wanted a 1600. How is/was the B for you?

BobW it was awesome very smooooth and fast. It would lay on a buck30 all day. That K was also one great motorcycle. I bought it real cheap as it needed a clutch among other things. I had it in a million pieces before finishing. I learned a lot about BMW procedures the 1200 was my second BMW and caused me to buy the K1600B. I kept the "B" 2 yrs. before selling and getting this R-18. I was gonna die or go to jail as an old motorcycle racer I couldn't stay off the throttle. every time I looked at speedo I was over a hundred mph. This is my first BMW.

Well, it was a BMW R100/7.......The motor has been swapped out.....
