I've had (and still have) a large number of bikes over the last 50 years but only 2 BMWs - the 2021 R18 FE and 2018 K1600 Grand America.

Still have a 2004 1200GS named Ole Yeller and also had a 2009 650GS. Both great bikes.

What other BMW bikes do you have now or have had in the past???

I currently have:

1972 BMW R75/5
2012 BMW R1200GSA
2015 BMW S1000R
2021 BMW R18 Classic

I've previously owned:

1997 BMW F650GS
1998 BMW R1100GS
2000 BMW K1200RS
2007 BMW R1200R

I'm clearly a big fan of boxer motors, since they represent 5 of the 8 BMWs I've owned. I've got to pull my current 3 boxers out of the garage for a Three Amigos picture since they are 3 different sizes, 750cc, 1200cc & 1800cc.

Currently

22 R18TC

Previous

Love boxers. Currently have 4 of them, which I manage to drive so that the batteries are not running down ;-)

No previous ones, I’ll build bigger garage when needed but I’ll not sell the bike.

So at 40 years of riding that is 7 different bikes a year. Damn!
I’m not quite following your math, but I ain’t no accountant! Yes, I’ve been riding 40+ not counting kiddo dirt bikes. A more formal BM-only count came to 27 that I can remember. Added to the other ~25ish brands I’ve had, it is only about 1.25 bikes per year. Hanging on to some of them for a while drops that count to well below 1 per year. Today, I have the R18C, a ‘19 R1250GS, and my favorite, a ‘14 Triumph T100 Black. BTW, I have friends with 3 digit counts! 😳

Yes my math was so bad I didn’t follow it either so I deleted it. Lol.

You still have quite a pace at 1.25 every single year you have been riding. Call me impressed.

If you skipped buying a new bike for a couple years you would have really needed to up your game and buy a several to catch up. And this doesn’t even count the other manufacturers. You my friend are dedicated.

Lol. I’ll show this to my wife, I am sure that it will help her understand how good she has it with my addiction…
