Can you not recall the order? You have consumers rights and especially since the trade was done via distant purchase. Check your countries rules but there are international agreements for this purpose since we all buy good these days from all over the world. I believe you have the right to cancel your order up to 7 days after the goods has been received which the seller needs to do within the time frame established in the contract. If no time frame was agreed, the maximum a seller can take to deliver is 30 days.

Sending a DHL sticker to prove they delivered within the 30 days is bs because it does not have a tracking number and they know it. If you paid by credit card you have even more protection. This is provided by the card issuer not the bank, i.e Master Card, VISA and so on. If you paid by bank transfer I am afraid there is little your bank can do as you initiated the transfer but do check with them.

I am not sure how much you desire this oil cooler but if they don’t play fair then why on earth do they think they deserve your hard earned cash? Up to you really.
Best of luck.
Hi Annibal,
Regarding DHL, the way it works in the EU is that as soon as DHL picks up the package, it creates automatically a tracking number and this is sent to the mail of both the recipient and the sender. What he sent me is just a sticker with the recipient's address, which is placed on the package and used for picking up and shipping. If he had given it to the carrier, I would have received a tracking mail.
As I wrote, I have no problem waiting if he wrote ''we can't make it, it will take longer''.
Wunderlich has clearly communicated with me that they are not able to deliver the rev counter sooner than in about 6 months, so I was counting on that and i was ok with that.
Of course i can ask to cancel the order but with this level of communication i am afraid that it would be the same story..
But thanks for support

I asked for the tracking number on both of my orders and never received it. Both shipments did arrive however.

Hey there, how did you go about getting payment sent? The bank transfer is now his only option and doesn’t seem like a simple process.
I sent a wire transfer using PayPal.

Thanks, so basically you paid via PayPal or is there a specific way to do a wire transfer through PayPal?
Any wire app will work. I just happened to use PayPal to facilitate it at the time.

I'm attempting to wire money today; I'm going to have my bank do it...
I sent my first wire using my bank and they charged me a $50 fee so I looked for alternative s. The next two I used PayPal and they went through but they seemed confused at LMC so your bank may work smoother.

Bank wouldn’t do an international wire. Just used PayPal, he’s definitely not the easiest vendor to work with. It seems silly all of the hassle to order from someone like this in this day and age. Now the waiting game begins to see if the part shows up. IMO it’s a huge change to the bike so it’s worth the hassle? Who knows. How do you like yours?

I agree.. I've been struggling with this as well; I'm always afraid that I'm going to send the money to some random account..

I was at the bank today; however, I think I messed up the amount - I might need to pay the difference, after Hans verifies the funds received.

Fingers crossed..

All said and done with the $50 fee PayPal charged me to send as friends it was $1623.16. I asked Hans for a confirmation and shipping information once it ships and haven’t heard back yet. Not surprised though, he’s not great at responding back.

I love how mine came out great. I’ve had it entered in two bike shows and got People’s Choice in each. The last one the bike got four times the votes the 2nd place bike got.
I’ve had plenty of compliments from bike builders and I think people really appreciate that I chose something different for a project bike.

It’s a Christmas miracle… after pestering Hans for a tracking number he sent photos of the receipts for shipping and the part arrived about a week later. From the time paying him the part took about 4 weeks to arrive. Took 2 weeks for him to actually ship.

If you’re patient and have some faith it’s worth the wait. However it was one of the more difficult transactions I’ve had to deal with.
