Looking for a swithched hot lead.

yes there is a male connector. I got one with my arnott suspension kit.. it had a part number of 20-19053.
 
Hi,
Coming back to this as I just wired a phone charger to the connector under the fuel tank. Got the corresponding (male) connector and wired the Negative to pin 1 (Brown on the bike) and Positive to pin 3 (Blue/Red on the bike).
However power doesn't come through..
I just assumed this would be the correct polarity but when I tested with a multimeter, found it weird that even with ignition ON there was no power - I thought people reported this to be a working 12v auxiliary?
So I assumed the engine must be running but because the tank was off I couldn't start it and installed everything anyway - then Ignition ON / Engine running yet no power to the phone charger..
Any ideas please?
 
Sounds like you may be using the switched power for the auxiliary lights if you have any R18 other than the B, T/C or Roctane. Try turning on power on the left combo switch under the mode button, with the bike running

Thanks, I had no idea that's a switched lead. Mine is a FE and doesn't have the headlight symbol marked on the lower part of the MODE switch..
Reading up here https://www.r18forums.com/threads/auxiliary-led-running-headlights-installation.697/ seems to be no difference but I wasn't successful in getting it working.. Engine running, short press/long press nothing seems to work? Checked the fuses and are all good.

..Is there any other way of switching that on?

Do you have a canbus installed for auxilliary lights i.e. trailer plug?, if so, tap off the auxiliarly light wire through a relay and run the hot wire directly from the battery through the relay. That way, when you turn the bike off, you turn the power off.
