For those of you who installed the Jekyll and Hide exhaust from Wunderlich, do they have catalytic converters in the header pipe?

The Jekyll & Hyde exhaust system is only replacing the existing OEM mufflers, associated hardware and brackets; I did in addition, remove the OEM servo module and installed two Servo Buddy modules.

The Jekyll & Hyde exhaust system has its own set of adjustable flaps within the exhaust system, that are controlled via a set of servo motors. For now, they are in play and controlled by pressing a button; however, they appear easily enough to eliminate if needed.

i have 100 yrs and remove the stock akra and intalled Remus. by default they have baffle but they can be removed. they sound like the R18 prototype when they first introduced it.

YView attachment 17788 Yes, they sound great. They are not loud at all.
None of these pipes are loud in the sense of what an American V-Twin would sound like. The head pipes are fairly small diameter.
I’m running gutted head pipes and modified straight through fishtails and I would still not consider it loud by American bike standards.

Not so far. Which welds are you speaking of? On the header end or at the muffler?
here. I just noticed it is happening on the other side as well but it isn't all the way off. The right side came completely undone. I should probably find a guy who can weld it back together, my solution looks a bit ghetto.

No I haven't experienced that. That back piece that captures the nut broke? That's too bad, kind of ugly. Have the people at Madd replied to you?
Yes, the back plate. I have not reached out to them. I lost one of the springs a while back and asked them about that and they suggested I go to the hardware store. I assume the response will be similar? I'll find a local welder and it'll be fixed in no time. Just need to do it.

Drill out the baffles. Open the flapper valves. Remove th me cats. Dream world….

I'm about to drill out the baffles tomorrow --where do I go to find out about them those "flapper valves" and "Remove th me cats."?

Witsend, remove this section of the pipe for Cat / flapper delete.

Well, that is much much better. I was able to get to what the actual issue was and it seems like the space where the bolt was supposed to grab on was damaged somehow. After some trial and error, I was able to fix it with a small metal hose clamp. If you didn't know it was there, you'd never know it was there. Finally! That has been bugging me for 2 years now.
