The issue is not the number of cycles or wearing out. On all three lithium batteries that failed, it was the BOS component that failed.
You said you had the Shorai 4 years ago and it was a BMS failure? Shorai didn’t have an internal BMS until after 2022, so I think you got screwed.

I never got an explanation from Shorai on what failed. But it exhibited the exact same characteristics as the failed Noco lithiums.

Hi everyone,
I was getting the battery with ? logo and the bike would not start. Once I used the jump started, it turned on like butter- A day later it did not charge. So, yesterday I took the battery out ( side note: it was only 3 screws and the battery comes out quite easily compared to 114 M8 harley) and I charged it.

Should I do any recommended test to see if the battery is still hanging in there? or just buy a new one? FYI- I also ordered an entry level millimeter from amazon-

Any advise is much appreciated-
Any good affordable AGM battery works. I would go cheap; I am a bike battery killer :-) I am shocked my original battery still works on my bike. 4 years is good for a bike battery where I live. Even on a tender they tend to go quick.

Need to do a load test. Sounds like you may have a loose connection. Check your chassis gound.
