Yes, I lifted off the gas tank in order to disconnect the original bars and electrical wire harnesses; then, purchased extended wiring harness and beachbars.

The BMW Mini Directionals were simple plug and play with the newly purchased extended wiring harness.

I completed the bobber project using my original BMW wiring harness, lights, and mounting extremely modified to mount to my seat, very happy with the result, no more hazard lights even with the pollution crap gone 😊

Did a similar thing. Hand drawn measurements , then CAD design sent to metal fabricator. End result not expensive. Attaches to bolts under my tractor seat. I can do about two hours on seat. You are truely hardcore on that seat.

See ‘ Headlight of the Roctane for the R18 ( Classic) ‘ on this forum for pictures. Oct 29 , 2024.
Wow, excellent work!! How did you create the front end? Did you just remove the fork sleeves? Love the headlight with the incorporated speedo BTW, nice seat too!!

Front end; changed to full size guard ( made in Estonia ). Roctane light conversion needs about 11 items to be purchased as well as bits from original light. Small blinkers can be found from multiple sources. I used those connectors you apply heat too for solder to melt ( hardwired in - no connectors ). The cables are surrounded by plastic computer mesh and zip ties. BMW beach bars and longer cabling. Risers Harley (?) aftermarket. Fork sleeves original ( no change ). Auxiliary lights BMW . Wiring connects to spare connectors under petrol tank . Wunderlich mirrors.

HI Prees. Happy New Year and many miles :) The rear fender is RockBob from Wunderlich, right? May i ask you what is your experinece in bad, rainy weather? I am thinking about bobber tail also, but i am still shilly-shally between Wunderlich ( which have pinstripes and it's nice) and BMW oem kit, which is longer. I am afraid that my ass and back will be painted from bottom to helmet in rain with RockBob. Thank you in advance
