You seem to have them flat. Mine are a bit closer to a 45 degree angle to clear the bag bracket. But I'm on a Classic

Install was mostly straight forward for me. Only issue I really has was the bag bracket. Took some elbow grease but it is working now. Sorry to hear your struggles. I promise the sound will be worth the head ache!!

I have the Freedom. It really has a nice deep sound. but not annoying on long rides etc.

Best to call them. Sometimes the site is wrong on the quantity.

I have the freedom 4.5". I did the install myself. IMO it sounds great. Not Harley loud and obnoxious. No droning on long highway rides either. Here is a video.

I was not happy with the noise level of the factory pipes. Really enjoying this upgrade!
