As long as the output from that is analog, you should be able to find a gauge that can translate the output to a fuel level. My suspicion is that BMW would probably use the same sending unit for all applications, if for no other reason than controlling costs. If it did have a digital output...

Does your bike have any indication of fuel level? From your comments it didn't sound like it did. If not, I would be curious if you tank has a sending unit in it that would give some level feedback signal for the gauge.

There's definitely no CVT belt in the R18 transmission. Some of the scooters (C600) have a CVT.

I have to say I haven't tried it yet. I don't particularly like it on cars, but it seems like it could be useful on a bike. I'm not sure that I would try to do a retrofit, but I asked since I've come across a few baggers that seem like really good deals but didn't have the ACC.

I'm curious if anyone here has attempted to retrofit a non-ACC bike with the ACC hardware. Everything I've read is that the bikes use a common wiring harness, so I would guess the connections are there. Not sure if it would need a software update to work.
