BMW R18 100 Years Edition, Kawasaki Drifter, Honda Firestorm
Hi All,

After a week of thorough research for a new, nice and reliable cruiser bike, I came to the conclusion that an R18 was the way to go.
Most bang for the buck whatsoever (over here).
After an afternoon of test driving on the dealers R18 Classic, it seemed to suit my body type and position perfectly.
I had no issues at all hitting the pistons with my feet since I am not that long legged. I only needed to get used to the smaller footpegs.

I can now proudly say I am the very happy owner of an R18 100 years edition (last one available here, came straight from Berlin).

Small question in this post: does every 100y come with a badge that says '1 of 1923' or do they each have a different number like '1258 of 1923'?

Congratulations on your new purchase, I am sure you will enjoy her big time.
Yes, all FE bikes comes with the batch saying 1 of 1923, which is deceiving as you would interpret that as having chassis #1. I am sure BMW knows that as well but wanted the added hype.
 
Thank you and thanks for your reply! Still no buyers remorse! What a bike. It was a friend of mine that pointed out that i might have purchased chassis #1 but i doubted it whilst imagining having chassis # 666 of 1923 🤩
