I too really liked the look of that seat but in reality I doubt it will be any more comfortable than the original Classic seat. I changed my seat to the day rider which has made a tremendous difference. I may have my original seat reupholstered as I do like that too but can't abide the torture...

Mine is set around 12 clicks. I am 5’9” and weigh around 200 pounds plus clothing thinking of winding mi e up to 14 and seeing if I can improve it even further.

Have you now correctly set your rear suspension? I hardly ever have mine bottom out anymore but when it does, it doesn’t half give a jolt.

The Day Rider is a great compromise when it comes to comfort and the lines of the bike. For longer journeys, just add a pair of cycle shorts to the mix.

A little concerned as had the same just the other day. Whilst riding the bike I had the transmitter warning on the dash. Disappeared after a short time. Today I replaced the battery and will monitor things going forward.

Hi Alf Sounds like you have been unlucky. Hope its sorted soon. As for me, in my ignorance I haven't ever done as suggested by you. Thinking about it I do turn off the engine before putting it on the stand but that's about it.
