I have owned a K1600B, it's a great bike. Actually, I have owned 3 K16's, 2 GT's and a B. At this time of my life, the R18 platform, suits me best. Ride one, and decide for yourself.

I personally think the R18 is here! Same thing happened with the K1600B and GA when they came out. BMW has heavily invested in the R18, even expanded the line, to cover all the bases. It sure seems like, there is more and more people, hopping on board. Only time will tell...

That's a great price. I assume that is 1hr flat rate to perform the valve check. Do they charge extra if the adjustment is needed?

They are screw and lock nut. The reason I ask, is the specs provided by the video ( foreign language) and what I am coming up with on my feeler Guage, are way off. So close, yet so far... I was quoted for the service, at 2 different dealers. The quotes ran from a low of $300 ish to $750ish. One...

I am curious...do our valves loosen over time? With motors, that use a shim, they tighten. But do valves, that can be adjusted tighten, as well? I feel foolish even asking, but...
