Whats the mileage on your R18??? And how long have oyu owned??

Lets check how far we can go with or without any troubles .....post your mileage here im at 9800 .in 9 months....doing another 1000 round trip next week....i/ve got a final drive sippage /leak....went ot the delaer once to fix it, they have replaced a gasket they said....still leak/sippage....went back waiting for arts to be replaced...will keep you Keep ypu posted Regarding the issue.let me know about you ....
 
2 R18's, from Oct 20 and Oct 21 :
2021 R18 FE : 7,116 : 22~ months : no issues
2022 R18 TC : 8,146 : 10~ months : no issues
plus a GSA that gets fair play, R12C for an occasional

11,XXX, 2021 R18C since November 2021. On track for my average 15,000-20,000 miles per year. Zero problems with longest ride just made, 3000 mile run with a nice enjoyable pace of 500+ miles per day. Looked forward to getting back on her after each stop too.

I agree about the seat. In two weeks I’m sending my seat to Russell DayLong Seats in CA for their fix plus a backrest. Ever since I first had a backrest, I can’t go without one.

I agree with both of you...I really want to do something with the seat issue. Just not sure what that is....any suggestions??
 
About 3k in one year of ownership, mostly early on. I think I’ve ridden it maybe twice in the last couple of months?
 
Bought August 12 2022. Have 1100 miles so far.
Had to slow down riding the first two weeks due to 500 mile service being two weeks out.
 
I haven’t done any trips this year, the one I had planned to do on the R18 I had to cancel when I got COVID the day before I was to leave, so all my miles are from day rides. I’ve had my R18 about 9 months now, a bit under 3000 miles. I have 4 other bikes I split time on, so if my R18 was an only bike would have been closer to about 8 or 9K miles.

Russell will build a backrest from your original seat pan plus make a pocket to sit in. They add material to the front crotch…..that’s what I’ve been told.
