The rear brake pedal height looks to be adjustable by loosening up the jam nut and adjusting the rod length. I’d have to play with it but too busy smoking some brisket.
So while they are “Air Cooled” they are really Oil/Air cooled. Like the R1200 motor, oil circulates through passages in the cylinder/head to improve cooling.

Both are beautiful bikes. My only fault with MG is their lack of dealer support in the US. The nearest MG dealer to me was 65 miles, and not the best reputation. I looked at an MGX-21 in 2019, even rode to the dealer and took it for a test ride. Got back and the salesman were too “bothered” to...
You don’t have to do that. The bike automatically starts with a new Trip odometer when the file light comes on. It displays “R” and is the mileage driven since the tanks hit Reserve.
So the recall has only affected a few bikes and it has to do with the steering head bolt incorrectly torqued.
The click-bait video is the only bike we are aware of on the forums that had that type of issue.
