What did you do to your R18 today?

Finally gave in and bought the leg rests. Don't like covering up the jugs but they are functional.

$600 for Amazon El Cheapo flooring 17' x 17' + 4' x 11'. I used the Race Deck design tool to figure out the number of Black and Grey tiles I should order

~$300 Home Depot delivery: 20 pieces of 8' x 26" galvanized corrugated panels, associated J - Channel pieces and three boxes of 50 metal roofing screws.

Definitely cleaned up my garage work space.. wife wants to know why I didn't do this 25 years ago... "I don't think these floor tiles were available back then" was my response
 
So today I fitted the engraved coin one the battery symbol

2nd thing I did was install the 100db Hornig horn. Excellent sound.

Also when engaging reverse my R would flash and not engage reverse when pushing the starter.
I had done some fiddling with the wiring for some accessories and had read somewhere that it could be fuse related. So pulled up the fuse info and decided to check the fuses.

First fuse I pulled was #4 the 15 amp. It was toast. Now I had no other issues only the flashing R and reverse not activating.

Replaced it and R stopped flashing and reverse now working.

Also worth just trying riding with one.... less old man more just "not trying".... and can still get a six pack on the way home (or a bottle of Ouzo, a litre of goats milk, 17 tins of sardines and a twin pack of custard tarts... me on friday).

Fwiw... I put some connector grease on fuse 3&4's terminals.... didn't like how they are exposed to water (bike washing etc) and the terminals showed some corrosion after 4 years. So pulled them, cleaned terminals, , light application of the grease and back in. Will report back in 8 years.
