I am most likely going to have to get them painted, as my bike is the 2024 racing blue, and I don't see that they are available in that color yet. I am unable to find any that show the relocation brackets. Do you happen to have a link to what you ordered, by chance? Thanks for the help!
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...t.order_list_main.5.400c194drQaaRD#nav-review

Hope that link works. They don't show the signal light remount brackets. I sent them a message on their site (not really a user friendly site in my opinion) and inquired. They told me that their advertisement says for R18B, and as such brackets are included. I got that info prior to ordering, and through inquiring on their site.

Thanks! They have the racing Blue color also!

Installed!!!! Engine protection bars and lower wind deflectors from Ali Express. They were Granite Blue, not Racing Blue, so I had to have them painted, but looks great and worlds better for wind protection! ALL buffeting gone!

Your bike looks amazing, thank you for sharing. So you got the lower wind deflectors from the link Bvick provided? Did you need to move forward the indicators?
How about the upper deflectors/winglets, the ones that mount behind the turn signals?
Cheers

Yes, I am totally impressed with how well they work. I played with blocking the wind with my hands and arms as well prior to adding the lowers. They don't block the air, they deflect it. I believe it is quiet enough around my neck area that I could lite a cigarette at highway speed and smoke it. Note that I also made small triangle pieces out of puck board to raise the TC windshield about 1 &1/4 inches up. This bike is excellent for wind protection now. Absolutely no buffeting.
Hey Bvick, do you have a pic showing what you did to raise the windshield?

That's beautiful in the blue!
And congrats on such an awesome collection of bikes! I'm envious your collection,....but not so envious of your insurance bills! ;)

I'm wondering if anyone has added the lower wind deflectors that fit on the crash bar, (that the TC comes with) to a R18B. They are available out of China (AliExpress) at reasonable cost, but I think the signal lights would contact the deflector when the steering is turned to it's limit, therefore signal light modification would be necessary. Any info on this would be appreciated. Tks
They don't fit to the crash bar that connect to the fairing. Use a dremal a file and very fine sandpaper and the will fit fine on the B. The China are a set fix not adjustable.

Not that great of pictures, but I just made triangular pieces out of 1/4 " puckboard, fit them in, and was able to leave the front windshield mounting screws in the original position. I tilted the windshield up a bit more, (gained about 1 & 1/4 in in height), and fasten to the puckboard. For me, lifting the windshield a bit, adding the lower leg protectors, and the deflectors on the bottom of the fairing, completely changed the wind on the bike.

Bvick, that's a great idea, well done. I think I will try and replicate that too. An added inch in the height of the windscreen will push the air right over my head.

Thanks for this!

Mike

Bvick I just noticed you're also a fellow Canuck, where do you call home? I'm located in Cochrane AB.

For anyone interested, I have installed lower leg wind protection on my 2022 R18B. The stock front directional lights needed to be moved forward as they did contact the leg protectors when the steering was near the limit.
Hey Bvick,

Just wondering when you relocated your turn signals did you have to add any length to the OEM wiring or was there enough slack to just reposition them?
I am having similar brackets made locally because the lower wind deflectors I got off of eBay didn't have that adaptor.

Thanks for any feedback!

Mike

I added a bit of lenght to the wires and applied heat shrink. I did not take much apart. I'm not sure how the wires are routed under the fairing, so was easier to add a bit of lenght.

Mike, note that I removed the stock bagger windshield and ordered one from China that is suppose to be the same as the continental windshield. Then raised it 1 1/4 in more by installing the puckboard pieces I made.

Hey Bvick,
You were wise to add some length to the wire. I had to remove the whole turn signal assembly to be able to use it as a template for the bracket I'm having fabricated. Man oh man talk about over engineering! You basically have to take the entire front end apart to access the wire, connector and the screws on the fork guard to get the light off and thread the wire through without cutting it. That said I believe there should be enough length to reach the new location now that I doesn't have to snake down to the old install location.

I should have the brackets by mid May and have it up and running shortly after that.

One can buy the lower protectors from AliExpress, China, painted and ready for $400 ca. They say that they provide an offset bracket for the directionals with the purchase. They say nothing to worry about. Guess I'll order them. I'll be smater once I get their package. Will post.
By the way, your bike looks great. Love the black. Mine is Galaxy dust. Very nice as well. Great bikes! Cheers.
Hello, I am having trouble locating the lower protectors on AliExpress for my 2023 R18B and was hoping for your assistance. I did find some on Ebay which are manufactured by a company called TCMT. Do you know if the ones you installed are as well? They don't mention anything about including directional signal relocation brackets, so I'm also looking for those if you happen to know of a source. Thanks in advance! Max

Hello, If I can't find a source for the brackets, I too will need to fabricate and was hoping you could post some pics of yours for ideas. Thanks in advance! Max
