Just a thought...without the optional wheels, the standard 518 is easy to pull with its standard wheels and also drag sideways with little effort. I did not order the optional wheels (maneuvering set). However, I do have fairly smooth concrete garage floor.I've folded and ordered the kit with the wheels as well (my garage is only 7' wide, so some manouvering is required) as I have my 12k service coming up- the previous seller had a dealer give it an oil change and then claimed that the "big" service was done. Currenly held in customs for £96 worth of duties
The seller (Louis in Germany) have said they will pick that up though

Forgot to update you
, the import tax was refunded on the very same day. That means without the additional manouvering wheels it cost £240 to the door. I have to say - it is indeed very easy and very quick to use. It also allows a lift to be used beneath the bike.It would have been extremely difficult to fit my exhaust servo switches without it. You may have seen my update about the handle hitting the rear protection bars. I have a friend in engineering who is convinced that this was a "malformed press" in production. In other words it wasn't bent enough! He stuck it on a 20 ton bender (I'm sure it's got a proper name) and after 10 minutes of setting up, it took about 1 sec to bend and it now works like a dream without the need to shorten it.

Some tw*t reversed towards my car on Sunday whilst I was at the Marina and left £780.00 worth of damage on my front bumper which will be fixed next Friday but the Kern Stabi will come afterwards. I also commissioned a new seat from Tom Hurley which will need to be paid next on June or July, depending on completion date. Expensive summer
