No modification necessary, mounting holes line up and reuse your BMW Torx screws.

Got R18 frame bag at my dealership.
Will install it and post picture next week when I'm back home.

Two in lieu of the fork reflectors and two on the rear swing arm. They just blend right in.

One probably needs to check your local regulations on how legal using these (predominantly helmet decals) are in your region - since they seem to reflect white. In South Africa, for instance (mostly based on the UK in that regard), reflectors need to display (reflect) white in front, amber on the sides and red on the back of vehicles. Reflective tape may be used on all sides, as long as it is amber. And you are forbidden to cover any reflective areas provided as standard features by the vehicle OEM.

Reviewing the laws here in Wisconsin, USA. There's no law or provision requiring any reflectors whatsoever on a motorcycle and no mention of reflector color at all except in vehicles greater than 80 inch's in width, ie dooley pickups. I also learned that I can't put a badger in my pants for gambling purposes.
 
Today I bought a new cross country seat off ebay. Had it shipped to the dealer.

I ordered a set of clear hand guards yesterday.

I'm in contact with AdMore Lighting, working on getting their great Lightbar operating on the R18. We've already done some tests and they're now working on new firmware that will make the R18 and the Lightbar get along. In the mean time, I've removed the stock license plate LED lamp and accompanying plastic mount so the Lightbar fits nicely. The AdMore Lioghtbar comes with a built-in license plate lamp. And the license plate mounts to the Lightbar bracket, with a clean black frame for beautification.

And, thanks to Enzo5000 who let us know that there is an OEM BMW horn that is a direct replacement for the stock horn, my R18 now has a louder, deeper tone horn. It only took three days, from the date I ordered it, for the new horn to arrive. It took about 5 minutes to install it.

DENALI B6 Auxiliary LED License Plate Brake Light (twistedthrottle.com). Functions as rear running light and brake light - max 6 amp draw. Not obstructing the license plate light and allows keeping the rear reflector.

Fly and Ride. The bike is 300 miles away. I am going to fly to Pa. Ride the bike to My brothers in MA, then hit New Hampshire, then come back to Western NY through Vermont and the Adirondacks. It will be a thousand miles the first trip.

I want the comfy seat.
I should hit 6 or 7 states.

While you are in New-Hampshire make it longer to Maine!
It so beautyful down there.
My prefered state in the US.
I have friends in Portland, Rockland, and Brooklyn (Me).
I'm toying with the idea of coming down east with my bike ...
Been there many times including twice with my sail boat, in 2007 and 2015, starting from my place in south of France.

Back home earlier than expected as we are now confined in France with a 10 km limitation around our house.

I installed the BMW R18 frame bag, smaller than expected but enough to keep some stuff on the bike such as disc lock and sunglasses, and the insurance sticker holder (thanks to @Gerard)

Did 1.5h ride within the authorized perimeter, I'm fortunate to live in a nice place with plenty of narrow country roads and points of interest.

Here is the Chateau d'Essalois in the Gorges de la Loire which I can see from my house
