over the past couple of days I have discovered the following about my FE

my low profile oil drain pan is not low profile enough for the r18 without it being on a lift
washing up liquid, a large hammer and a piece of 2"x1" wood makes silencer removal a doddle

I have no idea what route I am taking. Just pointing West and heading out. Rain the next couple of days, but we should meet up soon. Going to Lawn on Sunday?

You are welcome to come by my place and chew the fat in the garage any time, rain or shine. I teach at Hempfield so I am available most nights. Just let me know you are coming. Text 717.824.2360

It’s from Unit Garage. They’re Italian, I bought it thru a UK custom BMW shop but they’re not selling R18 stuff anymore, only R9T stuff now. I love the unit garage pipes, recommend them highly
Has anyone used the Reverse Levers sold on e-bay. Looks like extra weight on the shaft to the engine. Or am I better off with the Wunderlich?
How do you like your 1600? Was thinking to looking at that unit.

Awesome machine only problem for me is top heavy weight. The power is addicting and super smooth. They eat tires too, especially the front because of weight.
I am not familiar with Akrapovic exhaust I run open exhaust except for the catalytic converter, sorry
I was wondering if it is possible to change my member name, or is that a mess to make happen?

Several guys have told me that my handle is awkward to use since it is 1 letter followed by 5 digits. Not a very personable handle I guess.

If possible, I would change the member name from "R18 100" to "BER18". Would hate to forfeit all the previous posts.

Greetings, what do I do when I sell something I have posted on this site? I sold it elsewhere.

Mark it is as sold on the thread. IE reply to the post and say it was sold
Hast anyone ever had a fuel leak problem from the underside of an R18 Bagger fuel tank? The tank is three quarters full and the bike has been standing for two months. I noticed the smell of fuel a couple of weeks ago then saw the traces of fuel leaking onto the right side of the engine case. Any thoughts on this?

So, I'm wondering for those that have purchased and downloaded the Brentune remap, what do you think and is it worth bothering with?
I ride my 23 anniversary model in Rock mode and my only interest is in torque and acceleration. And of course smoothing out any flat spots in the torque curve.

Thanks.
