Has anyone fitted their r18 bagger with ZARD Exhaust?

I been talking with them and they confirmed that they will fit the r18 bagger. If you could share a video please….. thanks!

Thanks brother, i wanted to see if other people have it in their r18 and what is their opinion on it….i’d like to know if it’s too loud when just cruising on the highway.

I hear you, I have the same questions. I’m also curious how they’re getting around check engine lights as it appears that the header is catless.

I run cat delete with all exhaust sensors in place. No worries.

Perfect! Excellent. I suggest reading thru the exhaust threads.

In the pictures it looks like there is an H-pipe connecting the two sides together right after the oil cooler. Can anyone confirm if there is an H-pipe on it?

There is no H-pipe, no crossover, true dual exhaust.

Sorry, I was referring to the stock exhaust.

I have fitted the titanium full system to my R18. Absolutely love the sound. It sounds like a spitfire. I have kept the db killers in as it is more than loud enough. Far louder than the stock ones. The finish is superb and although they are very expensive I think the price is fair y the quality.

Removing the cat will not trigger the check engine light as long as the O2 sensors are still in place.

I wonder if the crossover adds torque?

I remember a Harley exhaust debate that crossovers add power to v-twins by equalizing the pressure for both cylinders. I wonder if this is true for us as well

I've been thinking about this because I believe it is applicable to V-twins (my Moto Guzzi before the R18 had a 'compensator pipe'), but that was due to the v-twin inherent firing order?
Whereas the boxer engine is simply square, I'm not sure if there's anything to 'compensate' or equalise since the spark is at the same time..?
