Windshield

I recently purchased a 2024 R18 Roctane. I'm looking for a flare type windshield. Any suggestions? I had the National Cycle on my Suzuki M109R and it worked beautifully. No issues, did what it was designed for, and it looked good.

I recently picked up a Roctane and fitted a 7jurrock windshield meant for a R18 classic.

Your able to buy the R18 classic windshield set up for the Roctane and then add a windshield.

I love the coverage on how wide it is. I did have to trim the end tips a bit around the headlight since the headlight bucket it wider than the classic. I have no complaints from the windshield.

I will say that a surprising amount of wind buffeting comes from underneath the bike, so the solution to that will be fork deflectors.

I bought a Clearview, 19.5 inch tall shield for my '21 Classic FE. The stock polycarb shield is 16 inches tall. The Clearview is acrylic, and adds 1.5 inches to the width as well. It helps considerably as it has a small amount of recurve at the top. Not perfect, but it helps, especially above 65 mph. FWIW I also have Memphis Shades deflectors mounded on my forks. They help a lot with the updraft factor.

Brown Bandit.......At the suggestion of a friend on this forum, I mounted a set of lowers from Memphis Shades. Not expensive and very very helpful.
Here is the information you need to stop 100% of the up draft turbulence. This mod works.

This particular one is for the Yamaha Roadliner, but fits the R18 just right.
