BMW R18 Classic
Hi my fellow riders, I got a Classic few months ago and it has been amazing to ride. I do have a $1000 dealer credit to use towards any OEM accessories or apparel. Any advice here? I was thinking about getting the highway bars and the large windshield. It is ok if it goes above the $1k credit. Thanks

Second.

New saddle. Pretty much ANY new saddle. I have the Fastback. It's a significant improvement. Weekender and cross country get great reviews. People even insist that the Roland Sands solo seat is an improvement over stock.

There wasn't much in the way of immediate options available, so I opted for the sweetest leather jacket that I've ever owned. Very non-obvious BMW branding, with white pinstripes on the sleeves.

Any picture or link?
Thanks

As the other riders suggest... get a better seat! ESPECIALLY if you expect to ever have a passenger behind you. I've got the Weekender and it transforms the bike into one that you can ride all day. My wife sat on the stocker on the showroom floor and declared that she would never ride behind me with the OEM seat. She kept that promise until the Weekender arrived. All is good now.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. I've put 1k miles on the bike and my but is square after each ride longer than 30 min. I will check it out the seat first. I also love the BMW jackets, very classy.

Anyone would recommend the highway bars?
