New to R18, and I'm making a list of all the upgrades I'll get. Currently looking all over at mufflers and I havent found anything yet that I really like BOTH sound and style. Dislike anything cone shaped like the Hattach because to me those lines just obliterate the look of the bike. Love the Jeckle and Hyde pipes (of the 3 modes Hyde mode is awesome) but $3k is way out of my range. So I guess the Freedoms? Anyone know of one thats deep grumbly like Hyde? I'm curious what the community here thinks about the lack of a docking station for the tour pack and backrest on the R18. To me, it is a huge missed opportunity by BMW. It's not enough that I wouldn't still buy the R18, but I would bet that it has dissuaded other potential buyers. Ideally, I would be able to easily remove the trunk from the Transcontinental for around town riding and put it back on for touring. My reasoning here is that minus the trunk, the bike is much easier to get on and off. Also, why cart around extra weight on an already heavy bike if it's not needed. At the end of the day, the reverse feature (not offered on a belt drive Harley or Indian) outweighs the configuration flexibility.

These aren't bad... they're not exactly cone shaped. Being captured off an unrelated video I have no idea who makes them... or what they sound like
