Just received my RSD floorboard kit and it looks spectacular! I’m currently waiting on the Classic mounts and hardware so I can install everything on my First Edition. If anyone is interested, this kit is on closeout at BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids for $284!
Good info, I ordered these and the matching passenger pegs to dress things up a bit. Not going for the levers and mirrors as that would probably start me off on a "blacked" kick for the cockpit.

The thing on my bike that was nearly wider than the cylinders, is the stupid number plates. I think that every other state in Australia has reduced theirs to something sensible.
I removed this monstrosity and have replaced it with a new plate (and letters/numbers) that’s about IMG_5246.jpeg

a 3rd smaller. My dealership also gave me a new plate surround with the logo and ‘Auto Classic Motoraad’ printed on the bottom.

Looking good mate. When I had my B🥲 she came with a ginormous number plate and the first thing I did was to buy a private reg and make it the smallest legally size available in the UK. Huge difference aesthetically.

When I post pics from the DGR this weekend, you will see the difference.
Adds class to an already classy machine.

Being 'geographically challenged' I have installed a satnav/phone interface - cheap as chips on Aliexpress but works brilliantly

I am against the sacrilege of a big tech screens on a classic bike.
However, having said that, this is a very clean and tidy installation.
Very well done.

I tend to agree, and I usually have the Beemoto which is about as minimalist as you can get, but the addition of having my phone & messages visible when I ride is great ........ plus, if I didn't have my satnav there is a pretty good chance I would never come home :ROFLMAO:

When my son was 14 we drove an old car from Rotterdam to Málaga.
He was to do the navigation.
The instruction being to keep south and when we would get at the sea ask if Málaga is right or left...

I got a visor for the SP Connect yesterday. I think it helps a bit but I’ll have to see what happens at high noon when the sun is beating right down on my head, because even with the visor and the anti-glare protector I might still not see a fucking thing 🤣.
