Ohh, love that. I use to have a set of Jardine straight through, slash cut turn out on my Dragstar Classic many years ago and they were amazing. The looks and the sound was insane. Do it, you only live once 👍

Full set fitted. Discontinued in the UK apparently according to BMW UK but still showing as an accessory part on the UK Motorrad website so go figure?
No idea why the RSD stuff comes with allen bolts when BMW use Torx everywhere else but replaced them with corresponding sized Torx which I polished by hand. Full OCD mode - I know :pIMG_5001.jpeg

Father xmas's helper (Posty) delivered a Rogue exhaust today. Sounds about right for me and has restored some "edge" that the bike lost with the bren tune. I bought the exhaust off a guy (facebook) that had never used it and had sold his bike, was still new in the box.... $1,400aud instead of $2,400 so was worth a try.

Rode it of course! Put the stock seat back on and am missing the chrome trim piece that covers the rear screw that holds the seat in place - you know the small “U” shaped cover…

The mirrors are from Wunderkind. I like the look, they have a blue tint that's supposed top help with glare, haven't had them long enough to tell. Less than
half the price of RSD. I've met a few members of Yankee Beemers but haven't gotten around to any of their get togethers. Went to a couple Chromeheads events in Vermont when I had my R1200C.

The next meeting is this Sunday at the Willow Brook Restaurant, 16 Hastings St, Mendon, MA. I am meeting a new member who also rides an R18B. If you can join us, people usually show up at 08:00 for a coffee and kick some tires, then breakfast buffet, then the meeting at 09:00. More info at yankeebeemers.org

Can't do this weekend. Holiday stuff and all. I'll see if I can make next month. Thanks.

Changed the oil. Reset the service indicator using the GS-911 tool. Way simpler and more feature rich than the ODBLink thingy that I have but stopped working. The GS-911 pricier, but worth it in my opinion.
