This product just came out after working out the kinks in the prototype. Call Utopia and speak to Andy, tell him Ron sent ya!They don't seem to have the R18 listed on their available models. Curious on the price though.
Fully adjustable, up and down, and front to back, no cutting anything, super easy installation. Love it.Are there any adjustments to move backrest front and back?
Also how hard was it to install? Did anything need to be cut?
Just ordered small size for my bagger.Fully adjustable, up and down, and front to back, no cutting anything, super easy installation. Love it.
You have an RDL for the R18? I didn’t see that model on their website. Love those seats. My Russell seat is nice and no regrets but now we have Utopia and Corbin in the mix and probably another manufacturer soon.
I have a RDL on my R18TC. Bought it because I wanted a backrest. Now backrests are available from different vendors. You have an RDL for the R18? I didn’t see that model on their website. Love those seats.
I wouldn't mind an extra inch.... The seats are so expensive and you have to ship it off, etc. May go down that road after a couple of solid seasons to see how I feel about the 18B seat. $1,000 to keep heating and such is eye watering, especially when you can't really test sit beforehand. Kinda hoping the next 9-12 months brings a few more players in the game, not just on the seat front, but in general. I will say, the lack of readily available farkles makes it much easier to not spend money on things lol.I have a RDL on my R18TC. Bought it because I wanted a backrest. The RDL raises the seat about one inch. At 5’7”, I may have made a mistake
I second these comments from past experience. The absolute best thing to do if you’re going to any seat builder is to make an (in person) visit so as to tweak the build…Had an RDL on my K1600gt and it was hands down the best seat out there. Yes they’re expensive but if you ride a lot they’re worth every penny. I’ve tried Corbin, Sargent, Mustang and local custom upholster; while all were better than OEM, the RDL was next level. Done 12 hour days ith no issues.
Could you please post a photo once installed?Just ordered small size for my bagger.
