Upside down mirrors anyone?

I have been looking at the mirrors on my FE and been wondering if anyone has switched the standard mirrors around and mounted them under the handlebars (as is common on Harleys). I know could spend 15 mins seeing if it would work but thought I’d pose the question here first thanks.

These are not the stock mirrors but they do work well. They are the Biltwell utility mirrors.

Ah thanks Roadliner, this is exactly what I was thinking of. Do they clear the tank on full lock or do you need to be careful not to bang them against the tank?

They look Really good e66, especially with those drag bars, proper old school vibes.
