I would buy the unit garage exhaust yesterday if they made a chrome version. Like them.
Personally, I like the stainless better, not only do they get that nice stainless patina as you use them but the maintenance is a lot easier than chrome.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again as a PSA. Can we really trust an exhaust maker who can’t make a mandrel bend and who things that this is somehow a reasonable shape/product to sell?

🤦‍♂️ This welded section pipe is a style liked and chosen by many. You’ve never seen them before? Of course they can mandrel bend a pipe, look at other things they produce. I chose to keep my stock headers because this wasn’t the look I wanted on this bike, but their products are all excellent quality. I love the ones on my bike.IMG_6104.jpeg

It’s not the style, that’s cool. It’s the square nature of the bend that is just silly as it relates to efficient exhaust flow. Either they don’t understand or don’t care.

There is not a significant difference in the upper and lower bends in the unit garage pipe and my stock pipes, the difference is the short straight pipe in between that gives it a more square appearance.

Well I can’t argue with you about that. And I see that is Ti, my bad, as mandrel bends don’t work well with that material.

That said, a smooth consistent bend is the best for flow, and they could have easily continued their small piece segments and done that. But what the heck, many exhausts have straight sections then angleIs at the muffler. This just looks so ‘garage-y’ to me.

So don did you ever make a sound video? Would love to hear them. Do they have db killers?

Installed stainless Unit Garage pipes. Love them.View attachment 16263View attachment 16263
Agree, I like them on your stock headers.

What I do really like about them is that they appear to be a bit higher off the ground than the walzwerk. Not sure if that’s just optics or not.

Do you have a picture directly from the rear? I am curious if the go straight back or flare out. I can’t figure out how they connect to the stock headers. Which they had a pic of the exhaust not mounted.

Thx

Yes, they are higher than the walzworks, at least from what I can tell in the fotos. They flare out a little but you can really adjust what angle they’re at - flared out, up, or down, just by where you put them on the connector pipe. I’ll get a couple photos of that probably tomorrow. I haven’t done the sound drive-by yet b/c I’ve got the rear fender off, trying to figure out how to hook up a ST2 brake light module but can’t find out which wire is what color. They hook on with a small connector pipe that slides on the headers right where the clamp is, I’ll try to get a picture of that too.
