Tyres

I punctured rear tire just last week on my R18C Since it’s a tubed tire I don’t think it can be easily repaired roadside.

Luckily, I was on a way home so I decided to pull those 3 miles.
I then called BMW Roadside Assist and they picked up the bike within 45 minutes. The tube arrived to the shop in two days and they charged me around $100. They told me I don’t need to replace the tire.

I've had two, 1 front & 1 rear on a TC. Tubeless tyres. Front was a
screw through the tread, so a temporary repair was possible, the
rear was a piece of copper pipe & the hole was to large to fix.
The downside is BMW don't recommend repairs to bike tyres,
no matter where they are in the tyre.

Yes they would. Although it does follow the practice of
the large tyre fitting companies in not repairing motorcycle
tyres. The fitter I usually go to will repair them depending on
the position & extent of damage. I've had a few repaired on
R1100RT's & Kwak GTR1000's, not sure I would be confidant
on a repaired tyre on my TC due to the extra weight.
