Hi, I know, I see in USA are more options for, to transport a motorcycle, here in Europe let's say not so many and also depend I will say about you intentions and also about space to keep, to store a utility like this one. So here I am to start a subject like this ( I get throw search and I do not find anything ), so what ever I am writing right now is about Europe and UK, but please be welcome and have give information about USA to! From the start of October 25 me and my son ( I am 57 years old and I am not riding so much any more, also the weather here in Scotland is not so good and I do not intend to ride on rain, only if I will get by the rain so we are going to share, also we do not intend to pay insurance and taxes for something which is going to be keep it in the garage most of the time, just to explain my self ) are owners of a BMW R18 Bagger and we intend in about 2 years to get it down to Greece where you can enjoy the motorcycle for very long time ( at least 9 months per year ), so it was how will get it down riding or been transported. So the second solution it was to find a trailer which can hold this humongous weight, also size and taken the least space when is going to be stored. Also have in mind they are some foldable trailers out there wit 10' tires and others wit 13', I preferd the last ones because 13 for me is meaning less rotations, equal less rotation and heat on the bearings resulting less stress on them on a long trip! Se writing I will give just a few photos about my trailer and the concern I was having when I bought it, to get this motorcycle on it and about the "foot print" of this motorcycle on this trailer ( because we have the dimensions, but no one was saying about the foot print ), because sorry I am not interested if the feeder of the motorcycle is going to get outside of the trailer or the rear box is outside of the trailer ( I do not care about ), also I will give a few links here in Europe and UK, if you are interested. The measurements been in meters! Can I get it on?! I bought a used a 2 years old, 2 time used ( at least this are information, false or not ), half price in a very good conditions Cochet Uno ( I will need to change the light wit led ones ) and the photos are to give you all the information which I said. On the photos you are going to see no 1 and 2, 1 is where is the rear center of the rear wheel or for more safety is no 2! ( It was dirty from transporting from down south in UK to Scotland, 366 miles both way in a stormy, raining day )! T keep it on the trailer I am using a orange Universal Motorcycle tie down straps Motorcycle Rear Wheel and 6 Retractable Ratchet Straps ( they are a little bit expensive, but easy to get stored, not get any fuss to have them back in proper way to use them again )( no names so you can use what ever you want )
I washed after and for some one which it was asking how to wash the small radiators on the cylinder heads, I have this video!
