Torque spec for head pipe bolts

I am going to be reassembling my exhaust system this weekend. I ordered new gaskets but after looking at them it was probably a waste of money. They look like two SS pieces of flat sheet. BMW must rely on precision machining to make the seal.
But I need the torque specs for the two bolts that attach the head pipes to the cylinders.
 
When I installed my pro race I couldn't find this info... The instructions also said to not put back the gasket at all in my case.... So I snugged them! No prob since. While you are using the gasket I would use the spec, if found!

A contact at Cycle Werks in Barrington IL sent me this:
5nm closing torque, 25nm final torque
 
Torque specs for every bolt on an R1200c was once common literature. It seems this info is harder to find these days.

That’s part of BMW’s attempt to tie owners to the dealership. Not only do I think it will ultimately fail. I believe it will drive people away from the brand.
I for one have purchased my last BMW product.
 
Dave, can you explain above procedure ; 5nm closing torque, 25nm final torque.

I agree with the following below explanation; similar to, tightening a wheel with wheel lugs...I typical hand tighten and alternate every other lug in a star pattern in order to align the wheel on the hub. (Closing Torque)... Is that first go around with ama wrench, beyond what I hand tightened. Once aligned and straight, I would then work my way around with the (Final Torque)

I assume you are working on installing the exhaust manifold to cylinder head? The Closing Torque is used during the alignment of the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head fitment.

Closing torque" typically refers to the torque applied when initially securing a fastener or cap, while "final torque" represents the total torque applied once the fastener is fully tightened and considered properly secured, which may include additional torque applied after initial tightening to reach the desired preload on the joint; essentially, "closing torque" is a part of the overall "final torque" in many applications.

Do you have any suggestions on how to maneuver and get the metal gasket back on between the manifold and jug? I can't seem to get the right fitment.
 
I used the stock gasket as well as liquid gasket to get a complete seal. Used German torque spec, gudnticht.
