My three year old R18B has developed a fuel leak from the underside of the tank. I smelt fuel a couple of weeks ago and just put it down to the bike standing for several weeks. Yesterday I saw the traces of fuel on the right side of the engine casing, put my fingers underneath the right hand side of the tank and they were wet with fuel. Any suggestions? Thanks

Probably the fuel pump quick release connector. I’m sure they are the same as nearly every BMW bike in that they’re made of plastic & go brittle over time. You can get a metal replacement. I replaced the one on my K1600. Not sure how much of a job it is on your bike.
This one is on Ali Express so maybe not the one to buy but it shows you what & where it is.

Maybe download the R18 Beachbars installation document in order to use the directions on removing the fuel tank; you'll probably need to disconnect the 12V connector underneath the phone holder for the Model B:

Thanks buddy. In the meantime, BMW are going to pick the bike up next week and because the bike has so few kilometres on the clock, send a "good will" application to BMW Berlin to get it repaired for free. Hope it works out. Thanks for replying 🙏
