Does anyone know if the seats on the R18 models are interchangeable with R18B and R18 TC?

I'll try and give you a response if able to find out. BMW will be at my dealer this afternoon and that is what I want to ask. I have a TC and want to buy the cross-country seat that is only available for non B and TC R18's.
 
I’ve had backrests on most of my bikes including the beloved R1200C for 14 years. Good luck with getting a solution from BMW
 
No luck. BMW rep said "sure I don't see why you can't install a cross country seat". But after doing my own research I noticed that my TC has many more electrical connections that reside under its seat compared to the Classic or R18. I'm sure a TC or Bagger seat would fit the Classic. But a seat for the classic won't work on my TC. BMW making a touring bike that can't use it's best touring seat is another major let down. Mybe my opinion will change if I ever get the legrest I ordered in freekin October! Good luck to you.
