Saw my first Roctane

I have to say that BMW nailed it with the new Roctane. The combination of stance and the metal finishes will make the bike stand out in the American cruiser market.
And at the price point it is more than competitive with similarly equipped Harley and Indian models.

At any rate, it really doesn’t offer much except for perhaps looks. What really gets me is the omission of a fuel gauge on these bikes. And there’s really not much tech there.

The market segment the Roctane competes in doesn’t require tech.

I have a fuel gauge on my R18 FE Pure. When the reserve symbol comes on l seek a Petrol station. What other tech am l lacking on this bike ?

Bigger fuel tank, but still 3.5" rear travel.

Anyway.... this is the first bike I've had that I would like to have a second one in the garage.... I' so want to put knobbies on it and do some dirt road stuff.... and not clean it ever'ish....
