Grrr! I bought the Roland Sands fuel cap, and little did I know it wasn't the entire fuel cap, but only a trim piece meant to replace the original chrome, which means I have to get the chrome piece off. Has anyone tried this yet? I think one needs a pair of ring pliers to get the retainer clip off.

Get a set of snap ring pliers and swap it out. It only takes a few minutes. Just make sure you seat the snap ring correctly when installing it in the RSD cover.

Bought an expensive pair of snap ring pliers and replaced the stock cover. It should be noted that you can no longer lock your gas cap with the Roland Sands cover!

Those snap ring pliers will come in handy in your garage in the future, I bet. Having to buy tools for a job sucks, but having tools on hand to do a job is awesome.

I got the Weekender seat, the Roadstyler passenger backrest and luggage rack, the small BMW rear bag, the Roland Sands gas cap and head covers, a handlebar bag, a small windshield extender, and Roadstyler crash bars. I've gotten all but the crash bars and head covers fitted. Once it's complete, I'll upload photos.
