Hi all, im fitting RSD wheels to the standard model, going 18 and 21. do I need to replace the shaft seals, and lock rings or are they reusable? its only done a 1000miles. thanks

Just my opinion
If you’re only at 1,000 miles, I’d inspect them very carefully before automatically replacing everything. The shaft seals are generally the part I’d be more inclined to replace if they have to be disturbed, since they’re inexpensive compared with the hassle of doing the job again if one starts leaking.
The lock rings are a different story they’re normally reusable if they come out cleanly and aren’t damaged, stretched, or deformed. I’d check the manufacturer’s installation instructions for the RSD wheels specifically, though, because some applications call for new locking hardware.
At that mileage, assuming everything is clean and undamaged, I wouldn’t replace parts just because the wheels are being swapped

Thanks for the reply Jonas, ive ordered the shaft seals, not expensive in the grand scheme. Also actually found a BM fitting instructions for these wheels and does state replacement seals but nothing else.
