Hello r18'ers! I have a 2022 r18 transcontinental and replaced my battery this year. Please note that when taking battery out or installation, there is a hook on each post to strap the positive and negative down. The positive hook can Easily stag the main harness and cause damage! BMW states that the cost can be upwards of $3,000 to buy and replace! Please use a flashlight when removing and installing the battery!!! There is No shield between the battery and main harness to prevent snagging the harness and tearing the wires!!'
