Removing seat on TC

I need to remove seat on the TC. Do I need to remove the top case or can it be done without taking it off. The seat bolt seems to be at an angle. Appreciate your answers.

According to the handbook you take the padded back rests off, they unbolt from
inside the top case, you should then be able to get at the seat bolt.

Rider0974 is correct. It takes seconds to unbolt the 4 bolts on the front of the inside top Case.
Hint: if you press back against the backrest with one hand you can unscrew the bolt with a screwdriver.

Only need to remove the 2 inside bolts, the two outside ones are for the speakers !
