What duffle are other R18B owners using and how are you securing it? I need more storage but dont want a rack or top case.

Does the B allow you to add a backrest…even if it does you may not like that look. If it does and you get one you could add a rear bag like I did. I had one laying around from long time back, it has a pocket that slides over the backrest. Granted it to a dam big bag lol.

I have some Helen2Wheel bags that I used to use to camp off of my R1150R that I would use instead if I needed a sleeping bag and tent.
I bought some Rok straps and they connect well to the posts the bags are on.

Was wondering if anyone has seen the fender rack from BMW for R18 there are no pictures.
The wunderlich fender rack looks smallish.
I was hoping the right fender rack would although strap downs on most removable bags?
I have the classic was hoping to get a stylish tail roll bag to attach to rack without scratching fender?

I bought the 40 liter version of this and it's great and was cheap. Goes right on the rear seat. Waterproof, not terribly expensive.

Thanks that looks pretty good i have a similar one on an RS but it has a rack!
So you tie down this bag to the hand strap on the passenger seat?
I was thinking that a fend rack would be a good option for strapping down!

I have the Bagger, so I just tie it around the pannier mounts. It comes with straps. I've been happy with mine and the looks fit the bike pretty well.

Catching you long after this, but wondering how you've been living with the bag. I bought one and just finally used it and have more disappointments than hoorays. I found tying it down to the hard bag mounts left some play where it could creep back, so mounted to my roadstyler rear guards and it worked fine. How did you use the the rok straps to mount the bag?
Any long-term thoughts at this point?

I had the same experience with it creeping back. I use a pair of flip flops underneath it to give us some traction and level it off. I rode 2.5 hours last month to take a smoked pork shoulder to a friend's lake house, and with the flip flops underneath it didn't slide at all. I actually have some thick black foam that would likely accomplish the same thing, but that would involve planning ahead for a trip in a way that usually escapes me.
