BMW R18 Classic
Greetings R18 riders!
I have an R18 Classic with the floorboards that are stock. The floorboards themselves are fine and I have learned to use the heel shifter but it never felt quite "right" for me. I'm interested in swapping my floorboards for some sort of peg but of course the mount for the floorboards requires a replacement peg that is female not male like 99% of pegs are.

I did find the following footrest pegs that are for an R18B and they sure look like they will fit my bike. When I use the parts website to check if they fit my ride the website says "This does not fit your 2021 R18 Classic". I think the website is wrong but need your opinion.

Hi,
I did it in opposite way. Swapped from pegs to boards. You will need to replace the whole assembly - pegs and also brackets as they are slightly different. One of them are lower if i remember it correct. Not sure how the side stand will fit in your case, but stand was hitting the boards when i installed them and i have to cut piece of the ''hook'' and put piece of rubber as a damper to the stand leg as it was hitting the board from the bottom. There was a note about it somewhere on the forum or maybe on youtube. Also the brake pedal is different, i've ordered it as well, because for the boards pedal needs to be more ''out'' from the bike. It's a bit DIY project, but nothing really hard.
