R18B BMW Motorrad Rear Luggage Rack

The UK BMW Motorrad website has a section that lists the fitting instructions for various OEM aftermarket accessories and for the R18B there are the fitting instructions for a rear luggage rack. Having looked at them, the rack is definitely for the B.
However when you then look at the accessories pages for the bike, the rack does not feature at all.
I‘ve asked a local dealer about the rack and been told that BMW don’t list one for the B so it’s all a bit odd.
I know that Wunderlich and others sell luggage racks for the bike but I was specifically interested in the BMW one.
is anyone able to shed any light on this at all?

Its really unfair because of how messed up the accessories part of this bike is... Ive seen stuff available in europe but not here.. very heart breaking.
 
Update. I ended up resorting to contacting BMW UK Customer Service.
The service I received was initially sh*t but I persisted.
In short the BMW Motorrad rack shown has not and is not available for any BMW Motorrad market worldwide. The fitting manual was apparently put on the website in error and will be removed. There are currently no plans to produce and market the luggage rack - which is a shame.
 
It’s things like that make me feel I might have made the wrong choice…but I’m going to hang in there. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT.
