R18 with Classic stock exhaust?

I can claim I never wrote this post if I have to...like someone else did the post honest!!!

I really do like my balloon shaped stock exhaust on my R18FE. Having said that, it seems the R18C exhaust will fit my bike. Is there any reason to change them out? Maybe just a bit of difference in exhaust note? Don't know if it would screw up the BMW fueling 'chip' and such.

From everything I have read you can put any exhaust on these R18s because they have wide band obd sensors and computer will automatically adjust. No tune needed!

Cost would be the main reason as you’ll need the pipes, front shields and different mounting brackets when I looked into it. The note is different slightly.
