So they arrived..... thinking of two.... buy a bit of carbon fibre plate, shape as a base to bond these to that then mount to the engine case. Will order a bit of plate now and go from there.

My guy making me some has gone a bit quiet. Could be he has other clients? What?? Anyway, I have an idea for these. Can you post the link again for these and the chrome ones? Thank you.

Advantages of small village life: Back in minutes, two arm openings fit to size 10€, observation that I should not lose more weight so she had a meal prepared for me in the fridge to take home. Some figs and a courgette to boot :p

Style wise I think is reallyréally, deplorably bad to wear the leather waistcoat bare chested wife beater look and I will try very hard to wear a white shirt but often it simply is too hot  On the roll a leather waistcoat is less flapping than just a shirt.

I was actually referring to the ‘Commando’ comment, but I guess that it’s the same as the louvred vents allowing air in to cool the figs.. I mean engine 😏

The figs I was given this afternoon are in the fridge.

In a few hours on the pedals for a longish ride*, most definitely NOT commando but with cycling diaper. Yet anóther reason to go early morning only; those cook the figs. And at my age you want baby cream too. Like protective fatty coating on steel

The safety measure is factor 50 on nose and forearms. Same as on the scoot and motorbike. With current temperatures cyclists are exempt from a crash helmet. Still don one as it keeps the male pattern boldness a bit in the shade.

* about 2 hours brisk pedaling east will get myself my morning coffee. Véry local ambiance, nice people, excellent cuppa 1€.

All the holes in the engine have sealed up 😳
I developed a set of ‘sliders’ with a friend of mine that uses a slider concept to shade plants from the sunlight at various rates. With my foot I can close them totally or partially depending on the oil temperature. 😜

croc print leather waistcoat
Really? Anyone else wondering about that bit? All I can think of is this offering from the National Sound and Film Archive (probably plenty on Amazon, ebay, etsy, and the like), but the real question is why. Might look nice on an R18 with copper highlights?

The wonderful thing about this forum is how we can switch from Louvered Performance Plates to Crocodile Dundee’s vest and no one gives it a second thought… Hail all motorcycle enthusiasts 🏆

You must have missed the part where he found a 1.2% improvement in cooling with added louvers on the side of the vest.

speaking of cooling.
Just now 19.00 hrs. still 44,5 C. My tortoises may need airco instead of heating. Yet the R18 runs ´cool´ and that is pulling a rig in the mountains.

8% more KP! Measured at the tail or the head? Try some Wildbrumby schnapps in those fancy carbon horns, or just eat ice cream out of them. On another note, and not wanting to derail this thread from its central topic but going to do it anyway, I'm looking for tank pads for the TC that will work with the pin striping. Most seem shaped for the smaller R18 and Classic tanks. Where are yours from?
