Has anyone tried Hedon helmets on r18? BMW Grand racer seems to be Hedon Heroine.

Yes, I have a Heroine and an open face. Beautiful helmest, hand made in the UK. One point. The liners are not removable for washing if you’re in a hot climate. I clean my with their cleaning kit and it works fine.

Most of them are actually made in China unless you order a custom one. Only Davida manufacture their helmets exclusively in the UK.

I mostly use DMD Seventy Five helmets with R18, there are plenty of color schemes and they are actually made in Italy. Convenient for 1-2 hours ride up to 60 mph and lot more protection compared to 3/4 helmets

I wish my head fitted into one, DMD have had some great designs and they’re very low profile compared to others.

Hi Gents, this is my Davida open face helmet which I have had pin stripped to match my R18 and R27.
The Davida is super quiet, very well made and a fantastic fit. It works for me.

Just bought BMW Grand Racer Heritage Helmet in the UK. One of the BMW dealers had a last one in my size. It seems to be Hedon. Never had a fancy/expensive helmet before. Waiting for it to be delivered in Michigan.
Does anyone here have Hedon/BMW Grand Racer helmet? If yes, how is it from a comfort + road noise perspective?

I'm looking to replace my old helmet. I am down to either an Arai Countour-X or a Shubreth C5. I have always worn Arai, and I have liked them in the past. Noone seems to have the Countour-X in stock to try on. I tried on the C5 and it fits pretty nice. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with one vs. the other. Fit issues aside. You have to find a helmet that fits your head shape. I am most interested in wind noise differences and modular vs. full face.

Most of my helmets have been Arai. They are very good quality. I had the Schuberth C3 and will be getting the C5.

In general a modular helmet is quieter because the hole your neck goes through can be smaller due to how you put the helmet on.

On the flip side, they often don’t have as many ventilation options when closed. Of course in slow traffic you can just open the flip and have plenty of airflow.

Once you’ve used a modular, it’s hard to go back to another helmet type. They really are the best of all worlds.

They bankrupted.
Theses luxurious helmets where built in China..
I realised that 6 month ago as I planed to visit their shop in Paris.
Those who bought one of their helmets now own a collector.

I wear a Roof Boxer V8. Previously I wore the V5 which served me for many years. I have been looking at the Bell Bullitt for months as I do like the retro look with the full face design but feels almost like an open face. The only downside is that appears to be a little noisy but surely it is not noisier than my V8 when open.
