Need Help Power socket don’t work on 2022 r18 b

Which one, one on dash or down by shifter? If the dash socket has the windscreen been removed recently and possibly the socket was not re-connected?
 
Hi any advise how to check power socket,I try won’t work
I would use a multi-meter to check for voltage at the socket. A few fundamentals, if you know them, great, but I'll say them since not everyone does.

When you turn on the meter, set the meter to Ohms (resistance) and short the leads together. You should see 0 ohms or something close such as 0.0X ohms. If that test is good, it tells you that the leads are connected correctly and the meter is working correctly. If that test fails, your leads are not correctly connected or the meter has a problem.

Make sure the bike ignition is on.

Switch the meter to V (voltage) and check the socket for voltage. If the bike is not running I would expect around 12 volts. If it is running, I would expect about 14 volts. If you see -12V or -14V, that indicates that your leads are touching wrong conductors inside the socket and you are measuring reverse polarity. There is no such thing as negative voltage. If you swap the contact points inside the socket the voltage will swap to positive.

If your socket is good, then your device that you're plugging in either isn't making good contact or the device is bad.

If you don't get good voltage at the socket, it is either not connected to the power supply, the power supply is bad (highly unlikely), or you have an open in the circuit, most likely a blown fuse.
 
Taking the dash apart isn't that bad, just a bunch of screws; download the TFT screen protector installation document from the BMW website, use those directions if not familiar with taking apart the upper dash.

LETS maybe check a couple of things:

Q1 - did the socket ever work for you?

Q2 - if so, what were you plugging into it?

Q3 - any chance, did the device draw more than 5 amps?

Q4 - what's the overall health of your bike's battery; there's some intelligence behind the power of the socket, the bike will shed power distribution if the bike's battery is low.

Q5 - are you testing the socket with the bike started and engine running? If so, do you own a VOM (Volt-Ohm Multi Meter)?
 
Get a Torx T-25 bit and go to town; the below pictures is what I took apart in less than 5 min, it's six (6) screws holding the windscreen on and two (2) shorter screws holding on the dash which also has five (5) clips that you need to pull up on in order to release the dash.
