I appreciate it. I have seen this picture posted but as I had asked earlier I was trying to see the covers on chromed handlebars “I’ve found some custom bikes online that have them installed with black handlebars or black mirrors but not on a bike with the chrome package”.
 
I guess I’ll be posting the first picture with them on a bike with chrome. I replaced the gas cap with the machine finish version. I liked it enough that I ordered the machined finish front brake and clutch reservoir covers and the cover for the rear brake reservoir too. I already have the machined finish valve covers so we’ll see how the total package looks. It might be darker than I want but you only live once.
 
A8B985D7-1466-41A1-81E6-964DC914F58D.jpegI Really like them and they are going to stay on the bike. You leave the stock covers on. They provide a small spacer for the countersink holes and longer screws. Then you place the RS cover over that. To do the rear reservoir I hope you have something like what I pictured above

I've spent $300 on dumber things, but I'd have to think about it a bit to come up with something. They are marginally more attractive than the stock covers, but just.
