Oil weep discovery not good

While airing up the back tire I noticed oil where the driveshaft enters the final drive case. There had been a drip because I saw tiger stripes on the rim.
During the 14 years I rode an R1200C with its single swing arm, I never had a final drive leak.
The R18TC final drive doesn't have near the stress on it as did the R1200C, so wondering if temperature change could cause this?
Maybe a non issue?

It’s an issue. Take it in and get it fixed.
